The history of Talea

Talea was founded in April 2009 by Pierre Simard and Patrick Leblond, both having prior experience in business and wanting to form a water jet cutting company where customer service was a major goal.

Talea purchased 2 FLOW water jet cutting tables, a 2D water jet cutting robot and a 3D water jet cutting robot. The company was now in a position to cut many different materials by water jet: steel, aluminum, rubber, plastic, granite, ceramic tile, Kevlar, UHMW and many others.

The focus on quick turnaround times, customer service and competitive pricing have enabled Talea to grow from 10 employees to more than 25 (and counting!).
