Talea: Metals and alloys

Talea: waterjet cutting

Specific parts can easily cut from metals and alloys with the waterjet cutting process. Softer materials such as brass and copper are ideal, as no heat transfer is generated from the cutting process.

Very thin metals and alloys are not distorted by the waterjet cutting process. Electrical boards and inserts for medical equipment are good examples of what can be done.

The waterjet cutting process is also ideal for very thick materials. Talea can cut up to 6" (15cm) thick stainless steel, again with not heat transfer.

Whatever your requirements, the technical staff at Talea will be pleased to discuss your project with you and to provide you the best possible solution.
